Between November and December 2022, Kyber Theatre organises in Cagliari (Italy) the 8th Edition of the International Theatre, Art and New Technologies Festival called<\/strong><\/span>
\n\u201cThe Wonders of Possible\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

LMDP Festival is the first of this kind in the whole Italy. Its aim is to promote the interrelation between artistic and technological languages.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kyber Teatro <\/strong>\u2013 spin off of L\u2019 Aquilone di Viviana <\/strong>(theatre and new technologies company, LMDP Festival creator and manager), addresses to Italian and International artists, emerging and not emerging companies and\/or artists, an Open Call to submit their projects about \u201cInteraction between theatre and new technologies\u201d.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Who can attend<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We encourage applications from artists at all stages of their careers.<\/span><\/p>\n

The participation is open to:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Artists and Companies of every nationality<\/span><\/li>\n
  • emerging companies and under 35 artists<\/span><\/li>\n
  • not emerging companies and artists<\/span><\/li>\n
  • to who works individually or in a group of maximum 4<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Eligible projects<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    • Theatre and new technologies plays<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Art and new technologies performances<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Application (deadline the 15th<\/sup> of JUNE 2022)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      The theme<\/strong> of LMDP Festival is the interrelation between theatre, arts and new technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

      The application must contain:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Artist\u2019s CV;<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Detailed description of the project (in PDF);<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Technical rider;<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Selection of max 5 photos;<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Link audio \/ video material (Vimeo or Youtube).<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Application materials must be sent by the 15th of JUNE 2022, to the mail: <\/strong>info@kyberteatro.it<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        The result is going to be notified only to selected projects by the 15th<\/sup> of JULY 2022.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        Economic conditions. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        The winners of the Open Call will have guaranteed the full coverage of the costs for mobility (flight travels, board and accommodation in Cagliari) and an \u201cattendance fee\u201d for the presentation of their performance for 2 evenings. If possible, we will cover also any material required for the presentation of the performance \/ show \/ play (it will be subject to agreements with our technical director).<\/span><\/p>\n

        Publication<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        Applying for the call, the artists must provide a short biography and an abstract of the project and they agree that the material related to the project could be published on the Festival website and\/or presented to the press for promotional purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n

        Archiving process<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        Artists authorise Kyber Teatro \u2013 L\u2019aquilone di Viviana<\/em> to present their work, to store the material and make it accessible through the Festival\u2019s website. All rights to the artwork and images will remain to the artist.
