\nNina Zedda \u2013 Artistic Director of Kyberteatro [\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Today\u2019s present is becoming a synthesis of reality and virtual. Immersive technologies create new experiences for users with augmented or enhanced environments.
\nFor theatre, new digital opportunities are constantly emerging to communicate differently with audiences. The use of immersive technology can enhance the storytelling in theatre with interactive components. This corresponds to an audience, which more and more demands experiences instead of passive consumption.<\/p>\n

PlayOn! was initiated by 9 theatres with experience in the use of digital technologies and a university with high digital expertise. 8 universities from the creative digital sector are associated partners in order to facilitate access to technical knowledge.<\/p>\n

Dedicated to the theme \u201cConcrete Utopias in the Digital Age\u201d PlayOn! is designed to understand, learn, test and apply immersive technology in theatre in order to shift classical storytelling to interactive narrative formats.<\/p>\n

Within 5 years we aim
\n1. to develop new forms of storytelling, building on narrative structures used in the creative game sector
\n2. to merge these new forms with a variety of immersive technologies
\n3. to use this new format to extend theatre towards the public urban space (immersive outreach) with relevant stories and the involvement of young adults as co-creators.<\/p>\n

In 3 phases, we will work on one of the objectives in terms of content and technology. The learned gained at each stage will enrich the next phase; at the end 27 productions will be created in total.

\nBorn in Hamburg, he has worked as a cultural manager for various theaters and cultural organizations.
\nSince 1999, Dirk has initiated and directed numerous major international theatre projects with the support of various EU funds: European Schoolyard Stories (1999-2000), Kinderspiel \u2013 Sydney (2001), Magic Net(2001-2008), Platform Shift (2009-2018), Documents of Poverty and Hope (2014-2016).
\nDirk Neldner designed the national Kleist Year (dedicated to the famous German poet Heinrich von Kleist) for the city of Frankfurt (Oder) in 2008-10. From 2010 to 2015 he was Managing Director of the Distel, the political satire theatre on Berlin\u2019s Friedrichstrasse.
\nCurrent projects are PlayOn! and ConnectUp. \nBorn in Rimini, she graduated with honour in Classical Literature at the University of Bologna.
\nHer theatrical training began in the Compagnia degli Scalpellini theatre laboratories then with other maestri, such as Antonio Latella, Letizia Quintavalla and Konrad Zschiedrich. She has worked professionally since 1997, and in 2000 she joined Elsinor Teatro, as both an actress and a playwright. In 2010 she started directing plays for young audience. Since 2012 she\u2019s artistic director of the Teatro Testori, in Forl\u00ec, and artistic co-director of Elsinor, together with Gianluca Balestra, Stefano Braschi and Rossella Lepore. From 2014 to Jan 2017 she was a member of the national board of Assitej Italia. In September 2016 she was appointed artistic co-director (with Renata Coluccini) of Segnali, one of the most important festivals of theatre for young audience in Italy organized in partnership by Elsinor and Teatro del Buratto.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner column_margin=”default” column_direction=”default” column_direction_tablet=”default”
