THE WONDERS OF THE POSSIBLE, with the VIIIth Edition of the International Festival of Theater, Art and New Technologies, opens up to the world of childhood. And it does with a show dedicated to children with the aim of bringing them closer to the theater even in its “technological” tools.

The three episodes of theater and digital animation of the play are inspired by Roger Hargreaves’ animated book called “Mr. and Mrs.”

A house, two characters, everything seems to be born and come out of a child’s drawing. The characters, sculpted and defined in their very precise boundaries, make characters with clear, chiseled outlines, without nuances: one is Mr. Gentle, the other the Rude Mrs., one Mr. Dirty, the other Mr. Clean, one says Yes, the other says No. The adventures of these gentlemen/woman, always in an acrobatic balance between the world of rules and the need for absolute freedom, tell the irrational universe of children through passionately catastrophic encounters. A real tug of war between those who are stronger, more naive or more stubborn, an inexhaustible succession of conflicting relationships in which everyone goes their own way. Mr. and Mrs. are like those children – or those adults – who do not want, cannot, cannot do otherwise than they do, and continue to repeat behaviors and actions without ever being able to prevent themselves from escaping. Sir and Madam, it is a tribute to the “gentlemen/women”-children, an opportunity to highlight and reflect on psychological characteristics in which we can reflect ourselves, food for thought for adults and children.
