ONDA – Urban Multimedia Performance
“Onda” is a multimedia narrative journey that explores the creature-like essence of the sea. A dreamlike and evocative voyage brought to life through words, expressive movement, and imagery, this urban performance breaks away from traditional formats. At the heart of its poetic research are the visions and texts of Homer, Elsa Morante, Alfonsina Storni, Charles Baudelaire, William Shakespeare, and Pellegrino Artusi, interwoven with songs and popular anecdotes.
Musical waves carry the actress’s body and voice toward islands of light and memory, emerging through video mapping by visual artist Simone Murtas (Kyber Teatro), projected onto the sculptural dress worn by actress Barbara Usai (Compagnia Cajka). Direction and multimedia dramaturgy are by director Ilaria Nina Zedda (Kyber Teatro).

The event is part of “Il mondo salvato dalle ragazzine” (The World Saved by Little Girls), a national showcase by the theatre company Madè, in collaboration with ILLUMINA – National Network for Gender Equality in Performing Arts.
The project is supported by the 2025 MIC/Special Projects for Theatre.
