In today’s world, where daily life is increasingly digitized, sexuality is closely linked to pornography—its modes of representation, consumption, and archiving. Porn today is one of the main arenas where desire is stimulated, visualized, and commodified.
Within this process, individual preferences no longer remain private: they are collected, processed, and transformed into data by algorithms and artificial intelligences, which in turn reintegrate them into the endless cycle of content production and consumption.
Despite its central role, pornography remains a cultural taboo. Many young people lack a safe space—in families or peer groups—where they can discuss and reflect critically on these themes.
“AI LOVE” was created to fill this gap: a protected, open space for discussion of a complex and layered issue, blending performing arts, artificial intelligence, and social inquiry.
The talk acts as a preparatory moment before the performance, designed to introduce the main themes:
- the link between AI and pornography
- how desire becomes data
- algorithmic manipulation of preferences
- the emotional, educational, and cultural implications of this digital landscape
