With Books on Wall and the NoMade Collective we will enter “medias res”, with “Mnemagoghi, a small collection of animated places”, an urban hypermedia itinerary, co-created by the inhabitants of the city of Cagliari in collaboration with Kyberteatro.
To carry out the work, the citizens themselves were called to action, inviting them to tell about a place of their soul.

The Sardinian capital will be connected, ideally and in fact, with the “Radio NoMade in Arberia” route.
Through a specific application, App BooksOnWall, the participants will listen through an audio, and suggested by a geo-referenced map, the history of the Arbëreshë, the Albanian communities of southern Italy, retracing the path that leads to the roots of each of us. Arberia is the name that the Arbëreshë use to define their nation scattered in the south of our country but united by the language. In fact, the ancient arbëreshë continues to be spoken and transmitted by the descendants of those “migrants” who fled the Ottoman Empire and came to settle in Italy between the fifteenth and eighteenth centuries.

THE ARTISTS.
Books On Wall is an artistic collective that was born in Uruguay from an idea of Fulvio Capurso, an Italian architect and artist. From Uruguay to Spain, from Italy to Portugal, where it currently operates, in Lisbon, Books On Wall is the product of the collaborative and interdisciplinary work of professionals from the most varied areas: visual arts, writing and literature, history, audiovisual, photography, drawing and painting, animation, music and sound, communication, digital programming and cultural management. Currently the collective intends to implement the project on the European territory, starting with the countries linked to the Mediterranean culture (Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece), and in parallel continues to develop its projects in Uruguay with the prospect of expanding into other countries of the ‘Latin America.
Since 2017, the international collective NoMade has been developing artistic projects linked to collective memory and territories, in particular through the “Radio NoMade” device with which archive material and contemporary contents are related to bring out the evolution of community processes that they go to explore. It is a multifaceted group, which encompasses various artistic skills and sensibilities, particularly in graphics, sound design, video art, performing arts, visual art, site-specific installations and interactive art. The collective includes a psycho-social approach in the construction of artistic interventions, which it proposes involving as much as possible, when possible, the communities and the public.
